Frequently asked questions

LET’S TALK ACCESS

Where can I buy your books?

Pretty much anywhere! I encourage all of my readers to visit their local booksellers or to order from local booksellers, or to use http://www.bookshop.org to support your independent bookshops.

At the moment, my work is only available in English.

When will your books be available in the US?

With adult fiction: Soon! With Young Adult fiction, you can already get both Witchlore and Nightcurse in the US. Hooray!

How can I keep up with your writing?

The best place to keep up with me and my work is my Instagram where I post about my books but also share pictures of my cat!

I also have a Patreon account where subscribers can have access to drafts I am working on as well as exclusive content.

Which of your books are suitable for young people?

My YA novels Witchlore and Nightcurse are published for young adults but every young person is different. It’s important to read content warnings and use discernment, as both books deal with some complex issues that can be challenging for young people.

Both The Quick and the Dead and The Knowing are written for adult readers. I suggest that any librarians, booksellers or parents read the books themselves and decide if they could be suitable for sixth form or college aged readers.

LET’S TALK EVENTS

Are you available for bookshop events?

I am! I love to do bookshop events and especially love to host bookshop events and interview other authors! You can check out some of my events on Instagram.

Are you available for school events?

I am available for school events and am very passionate about talking to young readers. If you are interested in having me visit your school, please get in touch!

How do I get in touch about events?

You can get in touch through the contact page or through my agency The Soho Agency. Or reach out on Instagram.

LET’S TALK FANFICTION

When will The Heir to the House of Prince update on Ao3?

Ah, the always present question! To keep abreast of when I’m updating again, keep an eye on the notes on Ao3 and also follow me on Tumblr, or join the discord.

Why can’t I read The Heir to the House of Prince on Ao3?

The Heir to the House of Prince is only available to readers with Ao3 accounts. It is free to create an Ao3 account and doesn’t take long to be approved.

I really liked The Heir to the House of Prince but I’m not sure if I’ll like your published books. What are they about?

I’m so glad you enjoyed The Heir to the House of Prince! Some themes that exist across all of my work are themes of queer love and representation, found family, survival of trauma, mental health, magic and magical lore, and people bonded by loyalty and disaster. Check out my books page and see if there’s anything you might like!
